Build A Catapult Team Building Event

This is the perfect activity for a 1 ½ or 2 hour timeframe.  Strategic planning, creativity and innovation, effective implementation and performance management are the keys to success.  

Each team must construct a Catapult that will have the ability to launch up to 30 yards with points earned for distance and accuracy.  Limited resources and time constraints provide the perfect analogy to the global workplace.  Teams work quickly to devise a strategy while managing the clock to ensure there is sufficient time for building, testing, and continual improvement. 

Once the teams have completed their Catapults, it is time to evaluate performance.  Gathering at the launch area, each team will have the opportunity to launch 4 times with measures for distance, accuracy, and durability of the launch device.  And the winners are?!
