DiSCŪ Team Member Challenge

Combining the Everything DiSCŪ Workplace with Action-Based Team Initiatives


New DiSC® Offerings

The DiSC® Suite of Products now includes more comprehensive reporting options that address performance for individual team members, management, or sales professionals.  The traditional DiSC® model (DiSC® Classic) is based on a forced choice questionnaire consisting of 28 questions.  This latest advancement now provides a ‘scale of measurement’ using a series of 79 questions with answers completed on a dimension of intensity.  This newer format provides a number of advantages to team members:
  • Participants can receive multiple reports (Workplace; Management; or Sales) by completing the profile one time.
  • Comparison Reports are available for team members who seek ways to improve communication with a specific team member
  • The DiSC® model is based on a map versus a graph providing for more meaningful interpretation of style and the intensity.  Team composites can provide team members with a visual picture of where team members fall within the DiSC® styles and the level of intensity within each style area.
  • DiSC® is working on adding a Leadership Profile (2010) to this suite of offerings that will also be driven from this profile report.

DiSC® Team Member Challenge

The DiSC® Team Member Challenge is based upon Everything DiSC® Workplace providing team members with a 20 page report that includes actionable areas of development that include:
  • What priorities shape your workplace experience and drives performance?
  • What motivates you at work?
  • How do you deal with stress in the workplace?
  • How does your DiSC® style interact with each of the other DiSC® styles?
  • What makes people ‘tick’ within each DiSC® style?
  • How can you increase communication effectiveness with team members in each DiSC® style area?
  • How can you problem solve more effectively across different DiSC® styles?
  • How do you deal with conflict across different DiSC® styles?

Corporate Teams brings together the hard-hitting insights of the Everything DiSC® Workplace with action-based experiential initiatives.  Using experiential learning as a cornerstone of the Corporate Teams team building model, individuals are able to ‘experience and modify behaviors’ to improve performance and enhance team communications.  Think of it as learning to ride a bike.  You can talk about how to ride a bike all day long but until you actually get up onto the bike, you will never really know how to ride that bike successfully.  This is what Corporate Teams does best.  The Everything DiSC® Workplace Profile program gets your team on the bike by balancing classroom learning with actual experience.

Corporate Teams delivers the DiSC® Team Member Challenge by providing teams the opportunity to put their Everything DiSC® Workplace Profile into action.  Engaging in a series of experiential activities, teams will develop a hands-on working knowledge of how individual preferences influence team goals.  Under the pressure of time, teams must develop an effective strategy, deploy resources efficiently, and implement a solution to achieve success.  These lessons are then aligned to the current challenges of the workplace.  An action based working plan provides teams with concrete steps for immediate implementation back at the office.  The experiential based model of the DiSC® Team Member Challenge increases the application and integration of the Everything DiSC® Workplace over time and provides the opportunity for long-term measurable results.
