LEGO Charity Bike Build for The Boys and Girls Club
It looked just like Santa’s workshop as the LEGO team came together with Corporate Teams to build five brand new shiny bicycles for some very special children. With just a few weeks before Christmas, the LEGO team joined together to engage in an afternoon of spirited team building at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. Everything was planned perfectly for the big day! Corporate Teams surreptitiously asked the Boys and Girls Club to select five deserving children to receive these wonderful donations. With great pride, the LEGO team was ready to load their finished bikes into the special Santa’s Sleigh truck. But when the big gust of cold winter air opened the door wide, five kids with grins ear to ear rushed through the door, with the LEGO team showing tears of happiness. And if it couldn’t get any better, the LEGO Team surprised the children with their own LEGO set! Thank you to LEGO and the Boys and Girls Club for a wonderfully heartfelt event.
