The First American teams gathered together on Pier 39 for the kickoff of the Mission Impossible: Mystery at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, California. The teams were enthusiastic and their competitive spirits were evident from the start as they joined up with Corporate Teams for a fun afternoon of team building. Luckily, the torrential down pour that had plagued the area for the past 36 hours cleared just before kickoff time and we had blue skies and sunshine during the entire event!

We started off the event discussing team talents and strengths. Not everyone knew where they belonged on the T.E.A.M. Balance Model, but their team members quickly identified their teammate’s strengths, especially the idea people and time managers.

The group was split into three teams by regions they worked in and played on a team with their manager. They all showed tons of energy and eagerly hit the ground running after kickoff.

At the end of the event, the teams came back excited about what they experienced out in the field of play, but also what they learned about their team members. One team was exceptionally proud of their strong finish, as they started out feeling like underdogs. They all had fun and realized they work with some pretty dynamic people.

As we wrapped up the scoring, the team with the least number of people (5), compared to the other teams (6 and 7 people) came in 1st. And, as it turns out—this team was the most competitive right from the start! Each person who participated received a Corporate Teams water bottle and the top team received a glass plaque as a keepsake.

The teams were in high spirits after exploring the sights and events at Fisherman’s Wharf. It was a fun event on a bright, sun-shiny afternoon with an awesome group that clearly knows “Teams Win”!
