PricewaterhouseCoopers Contributes Backpacks for Health to Kidsave
The PricewaterhouseCoopers team wanted to find a way to support Kidsave, an organization that finds families for children the world has forgotten, in the Los Angeles area. Corporate Teams delivered their Backpacks for Health program to PWC that combines strategic teambuilding initiatives with the packaging of backpacks.
Thirty recipients from the ages of 13-15 were chosen to receive backpacks stuffed with supplies. This often forgotten group of teens was the highlight for the PWC team as they carefully packaged and bundled each item into a personalized backpack. Kidsave shared this with the PWC team: You should have seen the kids’ wide eyes as we handed out the backpacks during our Weekend Miracles program. They were full of smiles as they went through and discovered the special gifts inside!
